According to searches on the web I and checking online guides I see that Romanctically Challenged first air date has moved to April 12. I was thought to be airing on the 5th. It will air after Dancing with the stars and just before Castle.

So now episode 5 is in the can, what a great time. If you have a chance to see this show being filmed whether you are on vacation or are in the Los Angeles area, do it. This show has great writers, actors, directors and crew members. Although the last taping on the 18th of March is sold out, I am sure that they will have a second season so watch for tickets coming available later in the year.
This episode centers on Rebecca (Alyssa Milano) and Perrys (Kyle Bornheimer) High School Reunion and oddly enough that is the title of the episode. As with most reunions there is stress to show your former classmates how you have succeeded. Well add in a few twists and turns and that is where this episode takes you. I wont go into any more detail here, you will just have to wait for the show to air. This episode will most likely air sometime in the first weeks of May.
Earlier I posted a review of episode 1, and I wanted to point out what I noted that is different from then till now. In episode 1 I did notice that some lines were a little forced and there was often several takes with the same lines and different emphasis put on the lines each time. We as the audience were trying to figure out who there characters were, what was their background, attitudes and personalities. Each actor on the set was very serious between takes and turned to James Burrows often for input as to how their character could be made better and how lines should be delivered. We did get to see the final edited version of this first episode before the filming started. A few elements of that I remember being shot were taken out to get the show down to its 22 minute running time.
Now we are at episode 5 and the attitude on the set is completely different. The actors were very relaxed between takes and often joked with the studio audience and with each other. This comfort was really felt while each scene was being filmed, the interaction between the characters was smoother, delivery was more natural. More of the dialog was missed or repeated during this episode, which could be either that it was new lines, or just the shooting schedule for the evening which ran quite fast. The scenes in this episode were shorter and there were more of them so cameras had to be moved quite a bit. The timeline also covered several days so we had a lot of wardrobe changes. The shooting schedule was hectic and we did not get out of the studio until 10:30 pm. There were quite a few extra sets that were created for this episode in addition to the 3 basic sets, Rebeccas house, Perrys apartment and the coffee house. The audience did get some direction to not “Wooo” at one point in the filming but some people did not get that, I am sure they will edit the scene so it works. Rebeccas son Justin played by Israel Broussard, did not appear in this episode.
Romantically Challenged stars Alyssa Milano as Rebecca, Kyle Bornheimer as Perry, Josh Lawson as Shawn, Kelly Sables as Lisa. The show is set to start airing April 5th at 9:30 pm on ABC. Dont miss it.
Have you been driving and seen the cute decals on the back of a minivan or SUV? They come in many patterns from Mickey Mouse to Karate to Flip Flops show here. I realize that people have some need to display what family favorite activity or group or club they are aflilated with. I think that sometimes this done without any thought to the real world that they are living in. Child predators are all around, just search the Megan’s Law database in California. I did, and found within 5 miles of where I live there are 3 people convicted of various crimes against children.
One major factor in these travesties is familiarity, someone asking a child, “hey come here” is completely different from, “Hi, kailey, your dad Chris asked me to bring you home.” See the difference. If you see anyone with the names of their kids plastered on the back of their car, stop them and tell them what they are doing. Maybe the decals needs to look like this one.

So I work for a small, privately owned business that did a building expansion 11 years ago. They of course had to get a loan for the improvement. The terms of the loan was 10 years with a balloon payment at the end of $700k. For the entire 10 years the loan was paid on perfectly, no late payments, no penalties, no problems. The loan was done in October of 2008 and the bank wanted the remaining $700k. Typically this balance is again given to a bank to finance. Except this time the bank that received the 10 years of perfect payments will not turn the loan over. The company has again and again applied for and spent months fulfilling requirements for bank loans and at the end of the process they are told, sorry no loan. The property apraises at 1.7 million more than twice what the loan balance is for. I though that our wonderful government had put in place policies that will help small businesses to stay open. This business is has been open for more that 80 years and has grown from one location to six, a simple building load should be easy. Well now they are looking for private investors. If you know someone who want to invest in commercial property and earn 8% on your money then email invest@closelumber.com for more information.

I recently had a vendor meeting with our local representative from VMWare, had to beat them up on their lack of response on a recent support issue. During the conversation we brough up new advances in Microsofts virtualization. The VMWare rep backpedaled and spouted about their long reputation in the industry. OK, so that is all well and good but I reviewed a recent purchase for hardware.
We needed to add a few more blades to our HP C7000 blade center. Lately we have been specifying the BL495c G6 model blades (the G7 models will be out in July) These are AMD based systems with 2 Six Core processors, we load them with 64 Gigs of RAM. Total cost for these blades adding Windows Server 2008 R2 Data Center is about $8,000. OK, now we need to add a Virtualization technology, VMWare adds to the cost another $8,000. Wait a minute that makes no sense. With Windows Server 2008 R2 we have a virtualization method that supports moving virtual machines from one host to another without shutting it down. VMWare calls that vMotion and Microsoft calls it Live Migration, VMWare makes you pay more for that feature as well as clustering which is included with Microsoft. Read More
