Rules Season Slapped Down to 13
<< UPDATE >> I was riding up in the elevator in the garage with one of the production crew and spoke briefly with him. The cast and crew were notified last Friday that the show was being reduced to 13 episodes. There was a hint that someone at CBS does not like the show. It was still unknown whether they would be picked up for another season. I said that I will not be watching the Rob Schneider show at all (don’t think he is funny anyways) and I will continue to support Rules of Engagement!
Well once again Sony Studios has shown that it does not have the backbone to stand up to CBS. They have cut the run of episodes from 18 down to 13. According to a Tweet from Bianca Kajlick the show will return in March after a 2 month run of a show starring Rob Schneider, who I have no desire to see at all. This may be a move by Happy Madison productions, the company behind both TV shows. There are other places to test a new show other than removing a show that is getting great ratings this year. Will be heading to the filming of the 12th episode of Rules of Engagement later today.
